test curves growing over car.

I could have any number of curves, but here’s 5 just for visualizing. More makes it messy with vine template brush.

Aesthetics: rising and falling off the car needs better transition. Currently looks too straight.

The vine presets have no central vine (as explained in a previous blog), so here branches appear out of nowhere. Need to fix the stamp thingy. It’s still the illusion of a central vine though.

Shadows suck, yeah…

The director wondered about having the car shake from some collision while the vine covers it. I don’t know what collision he means so I’d need to ask him before adding that, and making the curves on car more complex. It seems a cool idea, except that the more effects, the less possible it is to revert to previous stages to edit more basic issues, such as changing the car shape….

This time it has nothing to do with code dev. I already have a half baked UI to drive my functions in python in maya. In the anim I’m just mousing stuff out.
